Terms and Conditions

1. Ordering

An order is placed when you complete checkout and payment. It is accepted when we confirm it and begin production — not before.

We may decline an order. The usual reasons are that we cannot produce the specification, the artwork infringes someone else’s rights, or a price was displayed in error. If we decline after payment, we refund in full.

2. Prices and payment

All prices shown include GST and are in Indian Rupees. Standard delivery is free to every serviceable PIN code in India. Faster delivery options, where offered, are priced separately and shown before payment.

Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering, through our payment gateway. We do not receive or store your card or bank details.

Payments are processed by Erevu Ventures Private Limited, which also operates the OfficeSmart brand. Your card or bank statement may therefore show "OfficeSmart" rather than "ePrintSmart". Both are the same company and the same GSTIN.

If a price is displayed incorrectly because of an error, we will tell you before producing the order and you may confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

3. Delivery

Delivery dates shown are estimates based on production time plus transit to your PIN code, and are quoted as "on or before". We aim to meet them and will tell you if something changes.

We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control, including courier disruption, natural events, strikes or public restrictions.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please check your order on arrival and tell us within 48 hours if anything is damaged or wrong.

4. Your artwork and your rights in it

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us a limited licence to reproduce it solely for the purpose of producing your order.

You confirm that you own or are licensed to use every logo, image, typeface and trademark in your artwork. This matters: we print what we are given, and we cannot verify who owns a design.

You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from artwork you supplied. We may refuse to print anything we believe is unlawful, infringing, or that we consider offensive.

5. Artwork checks and your approval

We run automated checks on every file — size, bleed, resolution, colour mode, page count — and tell you what we find. Files that would print badly are blocked; borderline files are flagged for you to decide.

These checks are technical only. We do not proofread. We do not check spelling, names, dates, phone numbers, prices or any other content.

Before printing, you are asked to confirm that you have reviewed the artwork and approve it. Once you approve, the design is final and goes to production. We are not responsible for errors present in artwork you approved, and reprints for such errors are chargeable.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel for a full refund at any point before you approve your artwork for printing.

Once approved, production begins and the order cannot usually be cancelled, because the goods are made specifically to your design and cannot be resold.

7. Variation in printed output

Printing is a physical process and small variation is normal rather than defective.

• Colour may vary slightly from your screen, and by up to a small margin between separate print runs. Screens emit light and paper reflects it; they cannot match exactly.
• Trimming is accurate to approximately 1 mm, which is why we ask for bleed and safe margins.
• Quantity may vary by up to 5% on large runs, which is standard trade practice. You are charged for the quantity ordered.

8. Our liability

Where we are at fault, our liability is limited to reprinting the affected items or refunding what you paid for them, at our option.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business or opportunity arising from a delayed or defective order.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

9. Accounts

You do not need an account to order. If you create one, you are responsible for activity under it and must tell us promptly if you believe it has been accessed by someone else.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

11. Beta programme

https://eprintsmart.com is running as a public beta. The site is open to everyone and orders placed on it are real orders: we take payment, we print, and we deliver. Your rights under the rest of these terms and under Indian consumer law are not reduced because the site is in beta.

What "beta" means here is that the site is new and still being finished. Some features are incomplete or absent, pages may change without notice, and you may encounter faults we have not yet found. We may add, change or withdraw features, and may pause the beta, at any time.

No promotional codes, discount codes, vouchers or introductory offers are active during the beta. Any code you may have been given, or find published anywhere, will not be honoured. The price shown at checkout before you pay is the price you pay.

If a fault on our side causes your order to be produced incorrectly, or not produced at all, the remedy is the same as at any other time: we reprint it or refund it, as set out in section 7 and in our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Being in beta is not a reason for us to refuse that.
