Starting a business
A new business needs a surprisingly short list of printed things, and ordering them in the wrong order wastes money. Settle the logo and the address first, because both appear on almost everything below and a change after printing means reprinting.
Before you order
- Do not over-order stationery on day one. Addresses, phone numbers and job titles change more in the first year than at any point afterwards, and a cupboard of obsolete cards is the most common early print regret.
- Get the artwork right once. The same logo file feeds cards, letterheads, stamps and shirts, so time spent on a clean vector version is repaid every time you order anything.
- A stamp is not optional in India. Most banks, couriers and government offices still expect one on a document, and it is among the cheapest items here.

Questions
How many visiting cards should a new business order?
Fewer than instinct suggests. Cards are cheapest per unit in the hundreds, but details change often in a first year, and a box of cards with an old address is worth nothing. Ordering a smaller run and reordering once things settle usually costs less overall than one large run thrown away.
Do I need a GST number to order?
No. Anyone can order, and prices shown include GST. If you do have a GSTIN, add it at checkout and the tax invoice will carry it so your business can claim input credit in the normal way.
What artwork do I need to supply?
A vector logo file if you have one — PDF, AI, EPS or SVG — because it stays sharp at any size from a visiting card to a standee. A high-resolution PNG works for most items but will limit how large it can be printed. Our pre-press check flags resolution and bleed problems before anything is printed.
