Almost everything a customer touches in a restaurant is printed, and most of it is reprinted more often than owners expect — menus change, prices change, and a laminated sheet with a sticker over one line is noticed by everybody.
Before you order
- Print menus in smaller, more frequent runs. A menu is the item most likely to change, and a large run ordered for the per-unit saving is usually thrown away long before it is used up.
- Keep prices off anything expensive to reprint. Put the dish list on the durable item and the prices on something cheap, or on a board, and a price change stops being a reprint of everything.
- Order packaging against actual weekly usage. Takeaway items are consumed continuously rather than replaced occasionally, so the ladder maths is genuinely different from a one-off print job.

Questions
How often should menus be reprinted?
As often as the menu genuinely changes, which is why smaller runs usually cost less overall than one large one. A menu is the single most reprinted item in a restaurant, and the saving from a big run is regularly wiped out by throwing most of it away.
Are your takeaway items food safe?
Food-contact suitability is stated on each product page, and it varies by item — printed packaging and printed presentation material are not the same thing. Check the individual product before ordering for direct food contact rather than assuming across the category.
Can I print a QR code that links to my menu?
Yes, and it is one of the better things to print, because the menu behind the code can change without reprinting anything. Supply the code in your artwork at a good size and test it after printing — a code that is too small or too low-contrast scans badly in restaurant lighting.
